Did you already make the change? The home page as I see it already has a link to CDROMs. If that's the new page, I think it looks fine.
If the desire is to help CDROM distributors sell more CDs, then perhaps the link to download the ISO on the main CDROM page shouldn't be so prominent. Instead, the page could lead with 'Obtain CDROM from a distributor' and then further down, you would have the CDROM download links.
