the new download page does the trick, let's go there.
Well, my proposal, basic idea, in fixed width ASCII art ;) Just checking
if you like the global proposal.
I would like this page to be linked to with the text 'Get
OpenOffice.org' (not being specific whether it is by downloading,
ordering or some other mean).

Comments:
- file sizes can be mentioned in the dropdown itself.
- much emphasize on english download
- clicking the globe might expand the text, presenting direct links to
the download pages.
- I think we should reduce the documentation links, and keep just one
setup guide/installation instruction link. Also, leave the user guide
for support.
- Call for helping to promote OpenOffice.org is removed. There is still
the call after the download is being started, and the menu item
'Contributing' is always available.
- non-english users are alerted on the very first line of the page.
- Sidebar will be hidden for this page (like on the homepage).
