Sometimes, when you are about to sleep you have these clear moments of

In sum, then, how about this:
* We ask CollabNet to make download.openoffice.org point to an outside
server. (It may have to be renamed, say to "downloads.openoffice.org)
* We work on the homepage as has been and is being done.
* We being work on portal.openoffice.org secondarily, with the notion
that portal.ooo will be a more or less comprehensive place for
endusers and even developers, but the focus on endusers.
Actually I would suggest that all of us first have a clear look at the
requirements as they are still messy. When we have cleared these up we
can think of where e.g. the collab technology falls behind (and then we
could start to think about new domain names). Maybe we could wait with
bothering Collabnet folks with too many temporary thoughts?

I like this and I nominate you to pull out your modified slide and post
it on the wiki... :) Is this possible?
Also, depending on how many more contributions we have to the wiki page
before the weekedn, I will be happy to kind of take the ideas and
organize in some way -- by topic or ?? top-down or something.
