Hi Maarten,

I've made a big update to the design (see www.patentpending.co.nz/openoffice)

- It validates as XHTML strict again. I don't know how others feel,
but I thought it was more usable when the link-click region
encompassed the entire <li> block, so I've emulated this with 2 <a>
tags - one for the <h1> tag and one for the <p> subtext (originally
there was one <a> tag just after the <li> tag encompassing both <h1>
and <p>, which did not validate)

- The footer links are blue on rollover.

- Andre's CSS menu tabs have been integrated, with a minor fix - the
1px area that appeared below the tabs has been removed (changed top:
26px to 25px in #minitabs ul.minitabs li.minitab .content). I also
added a background gradient to make it stand out a bit more.

- A light gradient appears when on mouseover of an action statement
with a light gull

- Minimum width of the design set to 750px (for #header, #homecontent
and #footer)

- Added Randy's Gull ad (moves down below action statements for
800x600), had to make it thinner to fit it in 1024x768. Some extra
styling might be necessary.

I have tested this in IE7, Opera 9, Safari 3 and Firefox 2 on Win XP.
As it stands now, images are 17KB, HTML and CSS are 11KB, so it's
still < 30kb
(www.patentpending.co.nz/openoffice/openoffice.zip to download all files).

- Ivan.
