Hi Kay, and others,

I went ahead and setup a new tryouts area...

Thanks.

I copied over the "style" directory form the main web site, not website,
but www.openoffice.org, so we could apply some of the existing styles
(like the absence of the default nav column), WHEN we got some HTML
hammered out.

We do have HTML:

http://wyrfel.reukauf.com/hosting/OOo/playground/
http://patentpending.co.nz/openoffice/

They look good, albeit minimalist :-)

As to visual design, Randy brought this proposal in, and it also
demonstrated his marketing element, which I think we all liked.

The only thing I would think might help is to have a graphic that represents OOo. We don't have any of that and it would be useful. It could be a background graphic or a download graphic.

Or am I misinterpreting the design as being finished, when it is simply the content that will go on the homepage?

best
louis
