Hello,
I see on the Mozilla website that they provide a link to the
extensions repository on every page on their website.

It puts focus on extensions very much and really promotes that feature
in their products.
Can we do the same thing?

Hi,
Have been following along with the discussion so far.
1) IMO it is very much a good idea to raise the visibility of the
extension and template sites.
2) It seems that the discussion has shifted to a single new page on the
web site. Not really the same as "link to extensions repository on every
page", is it.
So what about:
1) Links in a standard footer for all pages on the official websites
(main oo.o, wiki, etc) to the repositories.
2) Change the footers for all user oriented mailing lists to include
these links in every outbound email. (You never know some folks might
even notice them..)
3) Ask the extended community sites if they would consider doing
something similar
- Ask the folks at the user.services.oo.o forums to look at adding these
to the standard footer. (I can do this one I suppose)
- Send off emails to the administrators of the other forums asking if
they might do the same. (sorry, been burnt here once already - someone
else can do that)
- Get some emails off to End User oriented bloggers and see if they
could put those on their sites also. (I could do this one also)
Even if we could not get these extended sites to do this forever -
perhaps get everyone to do it on a given month or some such. (Maybe this
should have gone to the marketing folks, I think they call this a campaign)
I think these buttons/banners are pretty cool...I like the ones with the
larger letters just because I have poor old eyes! but...where are they
being used now? How do you envision them being used?

Anyway, just some thoughts,
