I think you're wrong about focusing on the video. I often do videochats in
an open office landscape, where I cannot use audio. So it's video + text
instead of video + audio. And I don't think that kind of usage is too
uncommon. This is possible in all IM's I have tried, so I don't think Adium
should be the first making this kind of use difficult.
