Hi Marius, I think there's terminology confusion underway here:
"single package with subpackages" just means one .spec file, from which several binary RPMs are generated. The overall size of data doesn't matter much there – I'm at least not aware of anything seriously limiting .srpm size within build infrastructure.
That way, there'd be only one .spec to review, which is literally a single package review, not multiple.
