For what it's worth, I stressed a BPI-F3 (8-core K1) and it held up remarkably: no crashes for weeks, stable 60C, drawing ~4W, with a tiny, zero-noise fan. I was impressed.
Bonus--it had a serial console so you can do "pre-boot" stuff almost like on a server-grade ilo/idrac. I wish more motherboards had serial consoles.
