I have another similar one here http://is.gd/5Me5b They really do not want to put the info up there, yet as far as I'm aware, they items requested are all available on a single CD. I fear technophobia is playing a major part. Either that or they don't own the IPR in the training materials they've commissioned. Feargal
2010/1/3 Timothy Green <[email protected]> Then it seems the argument you want to make to them isn't about email addresses and their limits but rather that it doesn't make sense for them to attempt to assert copyright on publication, as it's FOIable information and they'd just be creating more work for themselves. Yes, that'll be the argument for the next stage. At the moment they're just pressing for a 'private email address' and they have explained how consequently they want the material split up. They haven't yet said explicitly *why* they want the private email address; but we all know why. I just wanted to confirm first that there was no realistic limit on what they could sent to WDTK (so that it could not be an excuse for them to hide behind). I really want to force this material back out onto the Web, where it originally started out (it is part of their web-published statutory Publication Scheme, so they are currently breaking their own Scheme). -
