The Manx post office are similarly generous. They expressly say that postcode lookups on their website are unlimited in number (compared with 8 for UK post codes which you can also look up there). http://www.gov.im/post/postal/fr_main.asp Their terms and conditions are about the most weirdly set out of any website I have ever read. There does not seem to be anything restricting lookup on the site, except of course for the "Crown Copyright" notice at the bottom. For what its worth the Isle of Man does have a database right like that of the EU (and a reciprocal enforcement agreement) though whether there is such a right in the postcodes is unclear (disclaimer: I am not a Manx lawyer). However all you get for postcode lookup is addresses, rather than anything more geographically useful. -- Francis Davey _______________________________________________ Mailing list [email protected] Archive, settings, or unsubscribe: https://secure.mysociety.org/admin/lists/mailman/listinfo/developers-public
