Would there be any feelings that we did not make the correct desicion, we have the knowgledge that we did start a project and we didnt make the decision on the developers list.
This is a policy change and as such it cannot be decided in a project. If it could, the MMC could have done so.
Furthermore, i also want to know who this party's are that have started the lobby to get access to CVS.
There is no lobby. The vote was kindled by the discussion on the list, and Michiel's remark on the aselect security code, which is a third party product.
Other code that might be interesting is mmbob (which I am unsure if submarine wants in the mmbase cvs, but that is another issue) or components like the eo chat, or the Lucene module.
