There is no lobby. The vote was kindled by the discussion on the list, and Michiel's remark on the aselect security code, which is a third party product.
Other code that might be interesting is mmbob (which I am unsure if submarine wants in the mmbase cvs, but that is another issue) or components like the eo chat, or the Lucene module.
Well, is there a list of what they expect ftrom us when we offer such a possibility? As for me, why apply rules, just give sponsors the right to have their own part of CVS and let them be responsible for this space. What do the companies them selve think what would work best?
I know we have to make decision fast, but we also need to think about the problem before thinking of something.
