Actually there is nothing more I can tell you about this issue.

For the Fonera: It simply works for me. I haven't changed the firewall or local
network configuration and didn't switch to bridge mode or anything.

The only advice I can give to you is to go to the Gigaset webinterface to
"Telephony", "Connections" and click on Edit and compare your SIP settings
with the one your provider has given you.

If your provider is listed you can simply select it here or enter the
information manually. Especially pay attention that (might be under Advanced
Settings) "STUN enabled" is set to "yes" and the STUN server and STUN port
matches the one of your provider.

The STUN settings are the ones that make the difference between "works behind
modem" and "works behind router".

Also make sure you don't do heavy P2P or lots of concurrent HTTP-Downloads or
streams that would leave no bandwith for VoIP when using the phone. This stuff
might cause packet loss or delay. If this might be cause for your problems you
may try to activate QoS in the Fonera settings and set your available bandwith
there so that VoIP packets should get a higher priority.

That's basically all my knowledge on getting the Gigaset to work.
