Hi Steven!

I shall explain u my set up on the Gigaset phone for the VOIP services I
use:

I have programmed on my Gigaset the following!

Sipgate.co.uk which gives me a UK phone number.

Sipgate.com Which gives me USA phone number.

The Gigaset service which as u know comes with a number.

Rynga.com (no phone number) only to make out going calls.

And my BT landline which is irrelevant to my audio problems.

Rynga.com for out going calls is trouble free, and NO incomong calls at all.

My problem are with using the Gigaset and the Sipgates services.

WIth Gigaset calling another Gigaset sometimes It rings on the other side
but I cannot hear anything.
Another time I cannot dial out as it is looking for a line to connect.
Another problem calling another Gigaset is we are connected but the audio
quality is bad.

Sipgate UK.

I can call the test number (10000) and to my voicemail (50000) usually works
perfect. But when I call another Sipgate Uk subscriber I cannot hear them,
but I know that the answered me because the timer on my handset strarts
counting, eventually we get connected by trying backwards and forward.

Sipgate.com

I can call the test number ok (10000) but when I call my voicemail access
number (50001) No audio coming thru not even once.

I do not have any problems to receive incoming calls on either Sipgate
services. Sound quality is not always perfect but both sides we hear each
other ok.

My setting on the Gigaset phone as per instruction from each service
provider.

I do not do heavy downloads, and one advantage of having the Gigaset is that
I keep my computers off most of the time and still can make and
receive VOIP calls.

Steven can you please tell me what audio setting u use on your Gigaset??

bye

Dani
