This is something I've been thinking about myself alot in the past few weeks. 
What I'd like to see though, rather than a set ip, having it use DHCP to get an 
IP then display that IP on a small LCD screen. That way it could be used as a 
plug & play NAS box. Plug it in, turn it on and use the IP it gets from the 
existing network (or if it finds no dhcp server, a preset ip default) to get to 
the server-manager and make the changes. There is plenty of existing code out 
there to output to lcds so this shouldn't be overly difficult. I'm no expert, 
but I'd like to get involved with this in any way I can.
