Oh, please.  We all like elegance.  But "elegance" is not a feature.
It's not a good argument.  Probably 90% of the horrible atrocities I
have seen committed in code have been due to someone's idea of
"elegance".  If a one system really is more elegant than another, it
will have some more tangible benefits which can be listed.
