I'm not wrong. It is probably possible to hack icecast up to a java
insertor, but it is probably a major pain and requires JNI or other
crap.

Ah, so Icecast broadcasts RTSP, and then we pick up the RTSP, reassemble
it into what amounts to a plain ogg, FEC that and insert it? Sounds
efficient, elegant and fast :).
