Hi, I like the proposal. Sure, some stuff could be improved, but from my point of view it's an important step in the right direction. I like the way tabs are implemented, with the grey background for the whole content + panels in a selected tab.
The footer brings a nice touch, maybe we should consider having it at the very bottom of all pages? Having it appear / disappear isn't very consistent.
