We just made the same transition, went into production this morning,
and everything appears to be working fine. We didn't add "allow bootp;"
or anything similar; no changes to dhcpd.conf were required.
We also use "range dynamic-bootp", and have no static leases. The only
significant difference between our setup and yours is that we have no
shared networks.
Did the server or the client log anything or generate any error
messages?
