This is getting way off the topic of dhcp but...
In 95/98/NT there is a nifty little command 'nbtstat' which has the
following syntax:
nbtstat -A ip.number
nbtstat -a netbiosname
You can use this to determine the MAC address of the machine, and if
you're lucky, the user will be logged in, and you will also get their
username. BTW, does anyone know of a port/equivalent for use under
unix?
