Previous VIA frame buffer driver didn't work well with DirectFB : something like "only one layer available" and "double buffering impossible". TV-out tables were also really bad (no real 720x576 noscale mode). I don't think VIA people are involved in DirectFB... > Is it possible to use the VIA Arena driver with DirectFB?
