Hi Nicolas, Thank you very much for your indepth answer. Yeah sorry about the blunder - I was naturally speaking about mpeg2 acceleration. I am truly delighted to hear about the libcle266mpegdec effort, this sounds very interesting and a far better approach than specific patches for mplayer, xine, what have you. I tried googling for it as I wanted to learn more, but didn't find anything. I guess I just have to sit tight.
