I don't speak for OpenSRS. I'm pointing out that logically, if you are
so concerned about price that $1 makes a difference, and you have
10,000 domain names, then you should save yourself more than $3 each
and go through the ICANN Accreditation process. The costs of
accreditation would be made up by the difference in price.
Because unless you are accredited, and can get the domains for the
$6/domain year plus ICANN fees, then there is NO way you can compete
with those services that are using the domain names as a loss leader
to bring people into their sites.
Nothing in what I say when I signed up with Tucows said they were out
to offer the lowest priced service to RSPs. Everything I saw said
that they were out to offer the best quality of service to ISPs. And
they have come damn near close to that, definitely closer than ANY
other registrar.
