And how long has ICANN been in existence, Joe? With a body like the
ISO we wouldn't be even this far along after 2 years.
ICANN has a lot of problems, don't get me wrong, and I would like to
see the entire new gTLD processed opened a lot more than ICANN intends
to do right now, but in light of how contentious this issue is, they
have moved a lot faster than any International Standards organization
would have.
You have to admit that, Joe :) Whatever we disagree on, we do at
least agree that the process needs to be more open, and that would
never occur with an ISO like organization.
