Hard numbers are good to come by :)  !!!!!

These guys are actively seeking consumer data that any
right-minded marketer would pay top $$ for. Most assuredly, OpenSRS
benefits, like a profit motive is bad (*PAH!*)...

To top it all off they are going out of their way to maintain
a transparent back-end (the value of which I question, personally, 
but my opinion is just some text on a screen...).

What MORE could they possibly do for you?

I talked to sallan about this after I saw Phil's email - as I
understand it, we will be conducting end user surveys, but not in the
typical dotcom way of sending out an email. He explained that we will
be undertaking focus groups and other surveying programs using
representative samples of domain name holders - which means that your
customers might be specifically included, but so will those of
register.com's, NSI etc.

We do have a strict "ne touche pas" rule in place where end user
registrants are concerned - this survey program will not break these
rules.
