Did I? Did I say $3? $2? I don't remember that. Does anyone? Anyone? Anyone?
Bueller? No, I don't think I did, in fact I *know* I *didn't*. Don't quote me
as saying something I didn't Scott. Dangerous territory in this age.
If you were paying attention, you would know that the last time I suggested a
price reduction was three or more months ago - when .*.uk domains were added
to the OpenSRS system - and the figure I suggested at that time was 8-9
dollars.
And it came about because of the vastly overpriced UK domains, which I also
suggested should be lowered considerably. Both suggestions stand, and I might
add, have never been commented on by OpenSRS.

Well aware of that. I'm also aware of the fact that they have to pay
accreditation fees to ICANN, which add to the cost, and which people tend to
forget. This is a long, worn-out argument Scott, and one I'm not willing to
get into *again*. Read the archives if you want to know my position.

No, Scott, YOU say. I simply suggested that the money spent on this marketing
effort might be better spent on making OpenSRS more competitive on price.
Don't read between the lines - I don't write between them.
