I should point out that in my emails I didn't want to suggest that OpenSRS
will Spam people. However, there are different definitions of Spam out there,
and I'm a proponent of Opt-In, as against Opt-Out. I don't believe anyone
should be contacted in any way without their prior permission, except in
extraordinary circumstances. And an opinion poll, which is what this would
seem to be, is *not* an extraordinary circumstance. So I would prefer that if
OpenSRS intend contacting *our* customers, they let us know what will be
involved, so we can voice our concerns.

This is true, but the true customer for OpenSRS is us, not the end-user.
Granted, this would have some benefits, but there's a lot of if's and but's.
Too many in my opinion. Without more information on what's involved, I'm not
keen on this at all.

Again, we're your customers Scott, not the end-users. I can't speak for
anyone else, but I don't *want* OpenSRS any closer to the end-users. That was
the reason I signed up...
