Can someone explain why a name registered on 15-Nov-2000 at 16:12:48 EST does not show up in Internic WHOIS today? Last time updated whois database is Wed, 15 Nov 2000 21:20:09 EST. Should we be quoting turnaround of 3 days just to be safe? I would like to avoid sending my customers to OpenSRS to perform Whois as they are quite comfortable with rs.internic.net or that other conglomerate registration provider in Virginia.
