Mike,

What exactly was changed?  The only conversation I recall
recently revolved around the odd lookup process that's
used in whois -- where if you put in "microsoft.com" you'll
get "microsoft.com" along with "microsoft.com.sucks.atlcon.net"
and others that ***START*** with "microsoft.com".

People create these other records in separate domains (in
my example above, it's a nameserver called "microsoft.com.sucks"
in the domain atlcon.net), knowing that they'll pop up if
the search isn't formatted right.

Is that what happened to you?  If so, nobody hacked your
WHOIS.  They just set up another name server in a different
domain to demonstrate what's being done.
