Currently it is restricted. It will take work (arguable not much) to allow
this. We are not striving for the "easiest" solution, we want the
"smartest" solution.

This is why we are asking you.
The argument would be, if the customer wants to leave, does it make sense
to force them to do business with you one last time? Also, will the time
you (and we) will have to expend arguing and defending this policy be worth
the extra registrations? Will the "ill-will" potentially created by forcing
customers to do something they do not want to do hurt your business in bad
word of mouth? Will registrants appreciate our registrant-centric policies?
