Network Solutions Registrar change problems

I hope this has not been addressed recently

but is it not possible to change registrars to OpenSRS once a domain becomes
expired at NSI

I have had not problems in the last year doing this

and we were denied one today that was only expired 2 days

This is REALLY going to be frustrating  - do they really have to right to do
that?

its like they are trying to monopolize again - thinking they are the domain
GODS or something

sorry for the venting -

any info would be greatly appreciated
