absolutely correct Bill!
the 10 year registration is a huge RED FLAG for us as well
we have a real time cc processing in place but past few
weeks stolen cards were quite rampant so I am between
the rock and the hard place
remain real time and face 10 year stolen card chargebacks often
or go approval route - which is not as snazzy of course

the solution would be - a little snipped of code that would
let us do real time with an IF statement
if REG_PERIOD greater than 5 years
or
of PURCHASE TOTAL greater than $100
put the order in TO BE APPROVED instead of real time

I would say that out of ten 10 year registrations, eight are stolen card
scenario

cheers
