Alan,

Well, Britney does not own that domain name - a Canadian named Craig
Bushert does.  Many ccTLDs have local presence requirements, .uk being one
for example.  If you really want to register a .ca domain name, find a way
to comply with their presence requirements (which are quite extensive):
