This is especially interesting considering that Verisign's latest invoices indicate that payment is "Past Due" at least one month before a domain expires.
Nonetheless, I just completed a series of transfers away from Verisign where several were not expired, but were "Past Due" according to the invoice dates. I got lucky and they didn't try blocking them. (I am happy to be Verisign-free... [dances away singing]) Just keep trying. Also be sure that the customer isn't ignoring the "ack" email from Verisign that arrives disguised as an advertisement. Buried in the middle of an ad to renew are the instructions to follow if they really want the transfer to happen. > I have a customer trying to transfer a domain away from > Verisign, which > keeps getting rejected.
