Ok, this is where I think it gets interesting. First, neither us, nor anyone in my view KNOWS what the next killer app will be. It will probably be something that takes us all completely by surprise. That being said, we are thinking a lot about the process of innovation and what the pieces of the killer app will be. We think it will be somewhere at the intersection of circuit:packet gateways, identity and storage. We think that messaging infrastructure, publishing infrastructure and payment infrastructure will be important underpinnings. Accordingly, we are piling up a bunch of these things in a sandbox and starting to put pieces together like tinkertoys to see what we can build. We will let you guys play with us too. That is some of what you will see talked about at r.tucows.com. So it won't be about being visionary, but rather will be about sticking parts together enough times that we stumble across something! I also apologize that I have timed out and won't be able to respond to a few other bits until the weekend. Sorry and thanks for the great comments.
