I too concur with this. If they do not leave the Tucows model completely
alone and only use Tucows gains to offset Register.com loses, they will
see
rapid errosion of the 5,000+ reseller base they would be gaining.

Many of us have walked away from these registrars already. Why do they
think
we wouldn't seek another alternative should they try to interject
Register.com into this. If we wanted to use Register.com we would
already be
doing that.

I'll be spending my holiday weekend investigationg Enom and Godaddy to
be
sure we have our ducks in a row should this come to pass.
