In my case, controller caches are all disabled, and the system knows it via the "no 
cache flush".

I think that the zfs kernel threads are requesting this info from
time to time, I suspect that calling 'zpool <something>' could initiate
such calls, as well as scrubs and health checks. I only see them
a few times per day.
