Dennis I challenge the lack of categories. Something about that bothers me. While you may not want to push the category as the primary discovery method, I strongly feel the need to include some browse functionality for customers to discover what you offer. by using a search only mechanism customers will never discover products. They will only find the products they are looking for at the moment.
