@live just b/c you are a UX prof doesn't mean that you are immune to human error. Let's face it, several hundred ppl have registered successfully.
But my point isn't so much about @live but about a thread awhile back which tried to differentiate an anecdote from conclusive data. But the point that is relevant here is that I oft find people constantly jumping to really harsh criticism to the point of accusing design heresy (by saying they won't attend in this case), when duh! this was just your fault! There is still human error in the world and avoiding all of it is an impossibility. Hell, I do it all the time myself. Like Matthew I'd say you won't find a better UX conference than the upcoming IxD10 show that Bill & Jen are putting together for y'all, nor a better conference city/school to host you at. I'm biased for sure, but think you'll agree. If you've never been to SAV, if you've never been to an Interaction conference, this is the 1 to come to folks! I even co-chaired one and this is going to blow the one I chaired out of the water! -- dave . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
