Yes, so ironic! I was going to agree with the idea of a new list, so that next time we could get three copies instead of two!
Why? At a minimum, because no one knows the difference between the two lists.
I don't think that people don't know the difference. I think most people subscribe to both, just because both types of topic are potentially interesting to sysadmins, and it's easy to skip / delete when it's not.
