Mr. Reed,

I do not work for Dell what-so-ever ...,  But I am interested in expanding the
use of Linux/Unix for whomever ...  It took M$ until late in Vista's
development to finally provide what they state as a better scripting
environment than any Linux/Unix Shell environment.  I still believe that POSIX
Shell environments are stronger than M$'s PowerShell, and that they document
their environment a whole lot better than M$ ...

You do not see very many, if any at all, major Vendors supporting the selling
of Linux/Unix as an SKU item on their equipment at their sites.  So with Dell
at least coming back and offering Linux/Unix, I say Yeah !

Let me ask,  why have not more system integrators and/or resellers supported
selling systems (other than servers) for the desktop/laptop average market ?  I
would be interested in your take on this question in another thread, if you
wish.

Regards,
Harvey Rothenberg

Do you work for Dell or did you copy and paste this from somewhere?

Purchase a Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook (which comes with Microsoft® Windows®
preloaded) and download the Ubuntu image and drivers from the website of our
  partner Canonical.

HUH?! Comes with Windows preloaded? So you still pay the MS tax knowing that
you are going to reinstall anyway?

While I'm not a huge fan of Dell I really would like to support them when they
actually do good things but this is a head-scratcher.
