Gainesville, FL, has an AITP chapter and they have dinner meetings with guest speakers once a month. The current members include people I know from committees at $WORK, but I don't know any SysAdmins who are members.
SysAdmins and other hams do go to the meetings when they have cool speakers like one of the (three) local UAV development companies, or the local utility's WAN/ISP technologist.
