It's that time of year again. I am looking for a good bag to carry my

it doesn't have a good amount of room for much else then the laptop and
the power cord and a few papers.

So I am wondering what you all use for a bag to carry books/stuff in
with or with out your laptop. So send me links of the bag you use/like
and let me know why you like it.

Tom Bihn makes really nice bags. They're also made in the US and REALLY tough. They have different sizes of backpacks and messenger bags along with various small bags, dividers, etc to customize as much as you want. The bags aren't padded themselves, but that's better (IMHO) because you can use it with different inserts, or without an insert at all.

If you want LOTS of capacity, you may want to look at the Brain Bag:

Lots of accessories:

I have the Brain Bag and like it a lot. Just be careful because it's easy to overload.
