Then: Monday: learn: tutorials + co-hosted mini summits of other bodies Tuesday: get things done: DDF formal sessions for cross project communication Wednesday: summit day 1 + DDF unconference sessions (folks to reserve small rooms for smaller group discussions) Thursday: summit day 2 + DDF unconference sessions (folks to reserve small rooms for smaller group discussions) Friday morning: summit day 3 morning only + DDF unconference sessions (folks to reserve small rooms for smaller group discussions)
In this case I am not sure if we really need the fifth day - but we can keep it if budget allows. What Sam mentions is a real problem as well - some of the developer types might find many of the summit sessions not very useful - but having to hang out at as they are waiting for the DDF. This format above will be friendly especially to the new developers with limited travel budgets - who can decide to attend Mon-Tue or Mon-Wed only.
