Dan,

I was under the impression that we agreed on Sunday in the last TSC call.
The following was posted in the meeting minutes:

AGREED: ODL DDF will be on Sunday March 25, 2018 (abhijitkumbhare, 19:04:10)

And later summarized as follows by Abhijit in his email about the meeting
minutes:

The Fluorine DDF will be on March 25, 2018 - which is unfortunately on a
Sunday but that is the best choice in the current circumstances. It will be
at the same venue as the ONS. There will be possibilities to have smaller
breakout sessions on Monday and Tuesday during the LFN developer event.

I agree that the ONS event is *ridiculously* expensive, and consequently I
wont be attending it. Im making the trip just to attend the DDF, which I
feel is worth it. I was able to reserve at the event hotel for the nights
of Saturday and Sunday (March 24, 25) for the same rate of $259/night.

I hope we can also have breakout sessions on Monday without having to pay
to get into the ONS for the day. I hope Phil and Casey will work this out
for us. If ONS insists on being so expensive and charging for ridiculous
things like an ODL breakout session, then they should be worried about
facing the same fate as the SDN world congress, who tried to do the same
thing and nobody attends that anymore.

Regards,

*Brady Johnson*
