Mark, why do you always start a new thread? Respond to the already ongoing

Technically I changed the subject line and stayed within the thread.
Is this perhaps called a subthread?
(It was pointed out that a good mail client would show this.)
There was definitely a change in topic before I arrived -- some would
say that my changed subject line should have "was dx order" at the end
of it to mark the transition. And others would say that a new top level
thread (that I didn't start) was actually in order. (with or without the
"was dx order" suffix)
I don't suppose RFC 1855 or something similar has definitive answers on
subthreads vs new threads and the "was" suffix convention.

Open or solved issue?
And who am I to speak of netiquette -- my post was pretty unnecessary --
I was speaking for hypothetical others and not myself. I use credit
cards and I use PayPal. I have my concerns, but I don't see them as
evil. There are greater evils in the world to be concerned with.
Drifting more off topic here (new thread bait):
With respect to the banking sector it actually drives me crazy when I
hear federal NDP MPs waste their energy complaining about banking fees
and the need for federal intervention in such a thing! Jeez, left-wing
populism at its worst:

Except when said in jest in a post script, a form I'm sure I've now
abused horribly.
