Certainly you wouldn't urge us to post subject matter not matching our subject line -- it would be a deep disservice to those who rely on subject: to decide if they're even going to read it.
Though I must say, it would be bad netiquette indeed if everyone considered their contribution to always be so unique that a new subject line or thread were warranted.
