I no longer read emails, I just write them. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michael Kozakewich Sent: Tuesday, December 11, 2012 14:29 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SkullSpace-Discuss] mailing list netiquette,re new threads vs subthreads, was dx order
The funny thing is, I often consider changing subjects in emails I'm sending, but then PEOPLE LIKE JUSTIN spring to mind and I rarely do. I also want to send emails like "Regarding this thing or that" and want to send it as "Re: this thing or that" but now I can't because now that means it's a reply and people get *terribly* confused. ramble ramble -----Original Message----- From: Ron Sent: Tuesday, December 11, 2012 1:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SkullSpace-Discuss] mailing list netiquette, re new threads vs subthreads, was dx order -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 She's right, people never go off topic on message boards! Seriously though, Mark handled going off-topic exactly how you're supposed to on mailing lists. Change the subject, maintain the threading. There's lots of good reasons to do it like that, probably a few reasons you shouldn't. But whatever!
