There's a known issue with the incremental search in iPeng 1.1 (no ticket yet), that if results for earlier searches (e.g for the first two characters) show up after additional characters are entered these additional characters are being ignored (technically: the second search gets canceled). The workaround is after entering the whole search string to wait until the last intermediate list shows up before pressing "search". This issue is especially apparent when SqueezeCenter is set to search within words and not only at the word start because the server response will be slower in this situation. I suspect this has to do with some optimizations in 1.1 to get server load down while searching or it's a result of the comet communication.
